The intersection of faith and politics is fraught with animosity and partisanship today. Josh Burtram and Will Wright’s Faithful Politics podcast is a breath of fresh air, inviting guests of different opinions and asking just the right questions. I thoroughly enjoyed being on their show.

Faithful Politics is one of my favorite podcasts. Nowadays, most talk about politics or religion is a 'shoot first, ask questions later' dynamic, but co-hosts Will and Josh know how to be direct and incisive without bluster, theatrics, or point-scoring rhetoric. They help to model thoughtful, humble, and honest dialogue across difference. On top of all that, they are able to find really interesting guests experts to bring into a fresh conversation. This is a unique podcast in all the best ways.

In a time when those with varying perspectives tend to isolate from one another, Faithful Politics steps into the fold to discuss one of the most critical intersections with an openness of thought and discussion. Josh and Will are both curious and insightful in their engagement, and offer ALL audiences the opportunity to engage issues respectfully and honestly."

Josh and Will do an incredible job touching the challenging issues of religion and politics. You can agree to disagree and still love. Josh and Will are testimony to this as they are on opposite sides of the political divide, but are the best of friends. You won't be disappointed!!

Of numerous podcasts I have listened to that purport to give an objective view of politics and religion, this one comes the closest. A staunch Trump supporter might disagree with me, as this podcast is not a home to the ex-President's sycophants. Yet right-leaning co-host Pastor Josh faithfully articulates concerns from the right side of the aisle, and by the hosts' accounting, their listeners come from across the political spectrum. Left-leaning co-host Will Wright, for his part, has read and digested the fine print of the political documents he brings up, an important service to listeners.

A while ago I just started playing Faithful Politics podcasts and letting them run straight through and landed on Stephen Wolfe. I let it play. And I felt so much freedom. I will not go into how I view Christian nationalists except to say I do not agree with it AT ALL and I have strengthen my personal faith and I see how I can stand strong. What a mess we are in but I have found more of my faith and I wanted to say thank you. My mom thanks you too.

I loved speaking with Will and Josh about church-state separation because we went to some of the hard places where many people have valid questions and thought about them together. We created space to be curious, we listened, we explained ourselves. It was refreshing--and the dialogue that Will and Josh are modeling is exactly what our divided nation needs more of right now.
