Political host

Research-driven • Center-left

Will Wright

Will approaches politics through systems, history, and accountability. He is interested in how power actually functions, how narratives are formed, and how institutions shape public life. On the show, Will presses for evidence, context, and clarity - especially when political claims are made in the name of faith.

Two Voices. One Table.

Faithful Politics is a unique show that's all too rare today. While too many hosts look to score partisan points, Will and Josh thoughtfully work to bring less heat and more light on critical issues of faith and politics. Even when I don't agree with a guest (or a host), I learn from the program. If the important conversations were enough, Faithful Politis is a high-quality production that's worth every minute.

Where the conversation happens

This show lives in the space where conviction meets curiosity. We don’t come to the table to win arguments or score points. We come to listen carefully, ask honest questions, and wrestle with how faith and politics shape our shared public life.

Outside the "studio"

We are not full-time podcasters. We are two dads trying their best in life to make the world a little bit better for their kids. Like most people, we juggle work, family, faith, doubt, and the constant noise of the news cycle. Those experiences shape how we listen, how we disagree, and how we find common purpose.

Josh and Will pursue this to cultivate a friendship and a podcast while staying true to their core beliefs. Is it still feasible to discuss faith and politics candidly without jeopardizing our relationships or our? We produce this show not because we possess the answers, but because we believe the questions are significant. In a media landscape dominated by outrage and certainty, we aim to foster an environment for thoughtful discussion, respectful disagreement, and meaningful conversations that honor faith without weaponizing it.

Why We Do This

Faithful Politics is not built around debate, performance, or point-scoring. It’s built around the belief that serious conversations require time, care, and good faith.

When you listen, you can expect a posture shaped by restraint and respect.

  • We won’t shout or simplify complex issues.

  • We won’t treat disagreement as a failure.

  • We won’t chase outrage or viral moments.

  • We will ask hard questions with honesty.

  • We will take faith, politics, and people seriously.

This is an ongoing conversation. You’re invited to listen closely, think carefully, and pull up a chair.
